Good news fellow Tankers! World of Tanks is coming to PlayStation 4 with all-new content.

TJ Wagner, the project lead on PlayStation 4 version of Wargaming confirmed that World of Tanks will be coming to PlayStation 4, and is no longer exclusive to Microsoft Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

World of Tanks will be completely free to play for PlayStation 4 regardless of whether users subscribe to PlayStation Plus or not. The game will incorporate the DualShock 4’s light bar, controller speaker, and touchpad. There will also be 2 new maps exclusive for PlayStation 4 users for a limited time, and PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive an unlocked premium tank, exclusive camouflage, and 3 days of Premium Account time with a number of discounts on purchases.

However, there is still no release date but for those who are interested in the upcoming beta they can register here.

World of Tanks was first released for PC in 2011, and the Xbox 360 version was released in February of last year. In July 2015, Wargaming has announced a global release of World of Tanks for Xbox One, featuring cross-play function with Xbox 360. The Xbox One version also has a PvE mode or Player Versus Environment called Proving Grounds.
