5 Reasons Why You Should Watch ‘Hangover 3′

The boys are back and it’s another adventure for them for sure. Bangkok was fun but nothing beats Vegas. The sequel, despite having all its major characters present, has something that’s lacking. And for the third and last installment for this record-breaking comedy flick, best friends Stu, Phil and Alan are back to where it all started, Vegas!

The storyline is quite thin, pretty much with the same vibe as its previous films, but it’s the adventures of these trio that will tickle your ribs the same way the first two installments did.

Here are 5 reasons why this film kicks ass and why you should see it.

Las Vegas. For the friends’ mischievous adventures, nothing beats this place. The glamor, glitter, pretty girls, yeah, it’s the place to be. Spoiler alert: Chow winds up gliding over the Bellagio Fountains and Eiffel Tower.

Chow. The first part saw little exposure of him, but after realizing that he’s one of the strengths in the film, he’s all over the third part this time.

John Goodman. John Goodman will always be John Goodman no matter what role he plays in a movie. He did pretty awesome here even if he’s just phoning in.

Baby Tyler. The cute and cuddly baby is now 4 years old, and his presence means one thing, the foxy Heather Graham is part of the cast also.

End credits. One of the biggest draw for this film is its end credits, showing all the adventures they had. For this part, hmm, I think you better see the film.

The Wolverine Latest Trailer Release

The latest trailer of The Wolverine has been unleashed and it shows Hugh Jackman’s character, a mutant who has the uncanny power of healing and immune from any physical harm, still in pain from Jean Grey’s death at the end of X-Men: The Lat Stand. Famke Janssen, who played the role of Jean Grey, makes a cameo appearance that would thrill the fans.

In this short scene, Janssen tries to comfort Jackman who swears that he’ll never ever hurt her or anyone again. But of course, it’s just a dream and as soon as he wakes up, the already bearded superhero is in for another hell of a ride.

Another factor to watch out for in the film is the villains. Wolverine’s arch nemesis The Silver Samurai (Will Yun Lee) is there to give him tough time definitely and the group of ninjas as well, as our hero goes to Japan to escape his memories of Jean Grey’s death only to find trouble with these bad guys.

Other notable characters present that fans know are Viper (who has a snake-like tongue in this version) played by Russian actress Svetlana Khodchenkova and the even more deadlier Yukio played by Rila Fukushima.

This promises to be the fiercest adventure for the adamantium-powered man in claw superhero and definitely worth the wait.

The Wolverine, directed by James Mangold, will hit theaters on July 26, 2013.

After appearing in The Hunger Games and winning an Oscar for Silver Linings Playbook, it seems like Jennifer Lawrence’s career is on a roll.

This time, you’ll be seeing Lawrence as a mutant for next summer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past. Production of the film has started and she’s reprising the role of the younger Mystique. The plot is based on the two-issue storyline of the same title in which the X-Men goes time traveling.

Lwrence's prosthetics and makeup aren't different from what she had on back in 2011’s X-Men: First Class. Each application of make-up would take six cosmetologists and seven hours in applying it.

This time around, a body suit has been designed to achieve the same look in less time and with less discomfort to the actress. Let's see how she turns out once the movie is out!

Movie Review: ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’

The much-anticipated sequel of one of the most beloved sci-fi series has hit it off with a new villain and more action-packed scenes. Star Trek Into Darkness probably is one of the summer’s biggest films to watch and should satisfy the fans out there.

The plot features the Enterprise team pitting up against an intergalactic terrorist who has waged war for mysterious reasons. The actors who played James T. Kirk (Chris Pine) and Mr. Spock (Zachary Quinto) did pretty well at reincarnating the characters popularized by William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy so this is very much like the old Star Trek in this respect.

Compared to the classic Star Trek shows, this one has more violence and action scenes, resulting in one enjoyable ride.

Does it disappoint? Well for someone who is a big fan and wanted to see some changes, it might, but if you’re like me who’s not a Trekkie, you’ll be fascinated.

[Editor's note: When Benedict Cumberbatch launched into his villainous monologue, all the women in the audience simultaneously got pregnant. That scene alone is worth it. - Carmela]
